  It was extremely cold, and the house is not a very warm home, however, being on the river it is to be expected. Fortunately I took my own blankets... read more with for my guests on the patio, however, there were enough blankets in the rooms to be used if necessary. We found the patio warmer, as we made a fire in the area provided for it and that added to the ambience during the evening. The house is suitable for bigger guest parties and is a beauty to behold. The reception was warm and inviting from Charmaine and I would stay there again.
